This is a draw-based izzet commander I built to battle my friends out of cards-on-hand. Finally posting it because of the MTG mod on Table-top Simulator, and so I can filter suggestions to make this deck truly a nightmare. Don't get me wrong this deck performs well, but I can feel it's missing something, a something I don't have.

Main combo is purely getting either [Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind] on the field and abusing your opponents with your draws. [Spellbook + Reliquary Tower] are a few of the more common ways to remove the hand-size restraints set upon us. Then upon drawing one of Forgotten Creation + Magus of the Wheel + Psychosis Crawler You can easily sift through your cards to kill off your opponent. For (or a few others) Magus of the Wheel + Primal Amulet + Quasiduplicate to generate multiple token copies to use. Alternatively if your opponent manages to negate damage, or is using life gain, you can use combos such as Nivix Guildmage + Primal Amulet + Fateful Showdown + Djinn Illuminatus + Lutri, the Spellchaser plus a possible Ral ability in the mix to really lash out!

P R I O R I T Y C A R D S !

This section is the dignify the select cards that we deem essential for our field and gimmick. Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Reliquary Tower + Body of Knowledge + Magus of the Wheel + Forgotten Creation + Psychosis Crawler + Finale of Revelation Protect these cards at all costs! Magus is special due to his ability but Quasi-copy is a great work around! DO NOT under ANY circumstances let Finale be put into your graveyard! it's your one-shot re-do if your opponent slips away from you!

There are helpful, secondary cards in here as well Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Melek, Izzet Paragon + Primal Amulet + Djinn Illuminatus + Firemind's Research + Master the Way + Hypersonic Dragon Mainly the true secondary here is the spare Niv who stays as he's two colored mana less to play in case you're unable to cast your commander or if he's been slain outside of your mana-range. Melek makes a great combo with our commander and Djinn dito's that. research, Staff of Nin and alike are mediocre draws until our main cycle is fetched. This deck lacks in tutors for creatures however a tutor for a non-permanent will allow you to re-shuffle for better odds.

Planeswalkers
Ral, Caller of Storms + Ral, Izzet Viceroy + Ral, Storm Conduit are used as minor draw-fetches and extra burn combos with Electrostatic Field + Guttersnipe Nothing too major with these three, they're mainly used early and as decoys to save blocks while we still setup / prepare. The next two have a slight combo with Chandra Ablaze + Finale of Revelation + Jace, Memory Adept as recovery, but also to lure more opponents away from our priority cards. Jace's ult can be used both ways as your opponents are unlikely to have unlimited hand-size (DO use with caution against graveyard / discard decks). Chandra's ult creates a great force to pressure unprepared opponents as it specifically reads cast meaning our copy abilities work at will along with Ral IV's emblem and trigger our commander!

In listing this and writing the description I noticed a slight flaw in the deck that I didn't have a complete answer for: Multiplayer.

So late-ish game if you've done your job by drawing majority of your deck there are a few tricks to keep strength in our favor. First off is the Acquireboard as the necessary means lie outside what I own for the deck. In there are multiple cards which all allow you to remove PERMANENTS from the field. so the main trick is plug-and-play your choice(s) of 'acquire-cards' and Body of Knowledge + Reliquary Tower + Thought Vessel to re-limit your hand size to seven (7). Next pick your favorite five (5) cards plus Finale of Revelation + Quicken (quicken just in case you trigger a draw prior to playing the sorcery, not essential just precautionary) to ride into your next turn with. Once it's your turn simply play it and viola you have a new deck again! Take Caution as Finale's resolving ability states your no longer have a hand-size for the game, meaning this is a one-and-done deal, and must be thoroughly calculated before hand. In the case of a life-gain or Damage-Prevention you'd need to be certain you can end it the second time around, as it'd be unlikely they've played half or more of their deck by the time you'd need this, they have the potential to outlast you STILL.
