This is a really sweet jank idea that actually ends up doing some absurd things if you let it. The goal is to abuse the interaction between partners and the commander storm cards. Genesis Storm, Empyrial Storm, and Commander's Insignia are VERY strong with high copy numbers, and the other commander-matters cards are icing on the cake. We max out on the lieutenant cards and all other cards that want to take advantage of our commander spam. The basic gameplan is to cast Genesis Storm or Empyrial Storm and recur it forever until we win with it. You can also go beatdowns with your commanders, since they actually get some respectable power and toughness. Commander damage kills are very possible here. Mostly though the deck plays like a spellslinger deck with a pretty unique kill.

The deck has a few advantages that go kind of under the radar. We always have a play on turns 2 and 3 because we want to be casting our commanders early and often. We also don't really care if they die, since we want to be casting them again anyway. We also aren't super threatening out of the gate, so it's unlikely we get focused down before we can do our thing.

All in all the deck is super fun to pilot and it's the most "commander" feeling deck I've ever played. This deck truly takes advantage of the format's unique feel and play patterns in the most tangible way possible.
