Izzet Blitz

The goal of the deck is to get a kiln fiend out as soon as possible, ideally turn 1, and then the next turn make it an unblockable 10/2 with double strike. This can lead to turn 2 wins with a good hand, and can pull off a win out of nowhere later in the game if stalled.

The main problem is how vulnerable it is to disruption. If the kiln fiend or nivix cyclops is removed then you are dead in the water. The deck has some pretection against this in apostle's blessing and to a smaller degree mutagenic growth, but it still caves very easily to removal.

There is a lot of card draw, so even if you don't draw into a turn 2-3 kill, you can dig through the deck to find your cards relatively quickly.
