The Cult of the Monster of Gitrog Lake

**

The denizens of Innistrad fear that which dwells in the lake. Many claim to have witnessed it, but those who truly have become something less than human.

The Deck

This deck was born sort of a protest against the meta, and my love of The Gitrog Monster. I vowed that I would have a deck built using the frog until it rotated out of standard. It has evolved through rotation and with the changes in the decks everyone else is playing, and it has become more Superfriends with a frog. Which I am okay with because the deck is incredibly fun to play and once the Gitrog Monster hits the table is when the deck starts to shine the brightest.

Updates Add

I have been out of the standard grind for a while. Haven't played since before the bans occured (Modern and Commander have taken most of my time recently) except for Aether Revolt game day where this iteration of the Frog got me 3-0. Since Marvel, and Felidar, and Emrakul are now out of the format it is a brave new world, kind of. So I think it is time to bring the Frog back.
