I wanted to make an Angel Tribal deck, but didn’t want to do Mono-White as I have seen so many of those. Several of the Angels I wanted to include had Red and Green in them, and I had an Atraxa, Praetors' Voice I wanted to use as well, so I decided to go with a 5-Color deck.

Deck Breakdown

The strategy of this deck is pretty simple: it’s a “go-wide” beater deck with several ways to cheat in creatures.

Since I knew I wanted a 5-Color deck I decided to go with Esika, God of the Tree  , mainly for her backside of The Prismatic Bridge   to cheat in the high CMC Angels. However, since I was using her anyway, I decided to lean into her front-side abilities as well and made sure most of the creatures were Legendaries (again, largely to help with casting costs of the high CMC Angels).

As a final note, I also included Angel of Destiny as a pseudo-alt-wincon

Combos

There are no combos in this deck

Synergies

Beyond the typical Tribal includes, there are 2 main synergies to point out:

• Belbe's Portal makes Angel of Despair and Angel of the Ruins instant removal spells
• Luxior, Giada's Gift makes it so that you can still use the Loyalty Abilities of an equipped Planeswalker while The Immortal Sun is out
