Just bought the modern event deck and I want to make some adjustments. Not ment to be super competitive but maybe to make it stand its own a lil on casual modern night at my local shop. Never played modern before but I heard this deck was a good entry point.

So I kinda gave up on editing this deck despite all your guys help as I figured modern just wasnt for me. Left the deck alone for a long time but today I decided to pick it up and go to a small modern event at my local LGS just to play magic (cause I dont actually get to play often)

as it is with out everyones suggestions the deck went 2-0 2-1 1-2

I came 3rd place overall out of 7 which was well above where I expected. people were not expecting my Sorin as it just won games for me. only my last opponent could really deal with him. That being said it was only because of his +1. So with that said i am def gonna try and get the other Sorin as it would be a better benefit. Brimaz on the other hand always ate removal lol. I also noticed I really need to get those shocks as my pain lands did more dmg to me than my opponents at some points haha.

overall though I am glad with this decks results. I found playing modern was a lot of fun and I am def gonna use this deck more often and hopefully make some store credit or use trades to upgrade this deck even further.
