Maybeboard

This 75% EDH deck uses Jori En, Ruin Diver as a low-profile card-draw engine. It casts lots of cheap instants and sorceries that replace themselves, allowing us to dig through our library and assemble the components of our strategy, or acquire game-winning threats.

Early game, this deck focuses on maintaining board-parity with removal and counterspells, or one-sided board-wipes like Evacuation, and Thing in the Ice  ; buying us time to ramp up our mana with cards like Gilded Lotusfoil, Everflowing Chalice, and Sol Ring; and draw cards with Jori En, Ruin Diver and our Cantrips. If necessary, spells like Frantic Search or Faithless Looting can help us get the cards we need.

We should also be attempting to set up card draw engines and support tools, like Wavebreak Hippocamp, Mirari, Cast Through Time, and Isochron Scepter.

Once we have the pieces in place and the cards in-hand, we shift into a more forward playstyle. We start dropping threats like Sphinx-Bone Wand, Psychosis Crawler, Guttersnipe, and Chasm Skulker; or token generators like Murmuring Mystic, Talrand, Sky Summoner, or Young Pyromancer. With those established, we can focus solely on drawing cards and casting cheap Cantrips, allowing us to swing the game in our favor, all the while digging for powerful cards like Runechanter's Pike, and/or our win-condition Spellbinder + Nexus of Fate *list*.

If we find ourselves needing extra reach, or running out of steam, we can replenish our lost resources with recursion cards like Past in Flamesfoil, and Archaeomancer or Mnemonic Wall + Crystal Shard or Snap.

If we're getting screwed on our draws, Archmage Ascension can help us tutor for exactly what we need, scaling extremely well with our Cantrips. Delve cards like Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time can help us sacrifice some of our longevity to refuel ourselves in emergencies.

In longer games, Elixir of Immortality can allow us to go indefinitely. If we're receiving a lot of hate, Neurok Stealthsuit is useful in protecting Jori En, Ruin Diver and our other threats.

Possible Card Replacements:

Replace Abrade, Lightning Bolt, or Snap w/ Crystal Shard — Crystal Shard is very versatile card. Its ability to bounce not just our opponents' stuff but our own is very valuable, especially with our creature-based recursion effects. However, I personally valued the strength of Snap over the utility of Crystal Shard. Ultimately, this card's inclusion is up to player discretion. There are a few valid choices for replacing here based on what your playgroup runs.

Replace Elixir of Immortality w/ Laboratory Maniac — Lab Man offers an alternate win-condition to this deck that requires very little changes. Since we dig through our deck so much, its possible to get a surprise win with him. But I opted not to include him, since it didn't really fit with the deck's goals. If you prefer him over Elixir, he could certainly fit in.

Replace Neurok Stealthsuit w/ Lightning Greaves — This is mostly dependent on taste, I'd argue. While Lightning Greaves (and even Swiftfoot Boots for that matter) is more reliable, I like the instant-speed equipping ability of Neurok Stealthsuit.

Replace Mirari w/ Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim — Teferi drowns in Loyalty Counters in this deck. He is a very strong card that can serve as a really strong threat, and a source of consistent card draw. His CMC of 5 is the same as Mirari, meaning he can very easily slot into its place in this deck, and arguably improve it all tenfold.

NOTE:

Maybe cut crystal ball and fists of flame in exchange for 1x island and 1x mountain. I trimmed down the lands in the deck because I felt like I was getting choked on mana too much, when most of our deck is in fact, quite cheap, due to all the cantrips. One may wish to cut a colorless/utility land for another island, or maybe halimar depths, it's pretty meh.
