Based on $25 Can't block this, this deck shifts to mono-blue using new functional reprints.

Win Condition

Get any 2 different equipment onto an unblockable creature and attack. This is effectively a version of Boggles that (mostly) uses equipment rather than enchantments.I normally wouldn't include a one-of infect creature like Blighted Agent. But, if dropped turn 2 and followed by Strata Scythe and Fireshrieker, it can close out a game on turn 5 with a single swing if not answered. It does serve as a good flex-slot for sideboarding and improvements, however.

Sideboarding

Counterspells to stall the most obvious lines of vulnerability becomes key. Fourth copies of the equipment come out, and even third copies of Strata Scythe and Quietus Spike as your more mana intensive equip costs. Card:Ceremonious Rejection is useful against most varieties of Tron and against Chalice of the Void. Spell Pierce and Mana Leak both force the opponent to play around as they try to resolve their own threats and answers, while Turn Aside protects key pieces like Lightning Greaves.

Possible Changes

One easy change that doesn't increase the cost of the deck significantly is to replace a few pieces of equipment with Trophy Mages. It potentially slows the roll out and reduces redundancy vs opponents with significant removal. However, it gives you a blocker and improved consistency by letting you select the pieces you need.

Space For Growth

The first major space for improvement for the deck is to replace something (probably Blighted Agent) with Lightning Greaves. While the Greaves don't improve the damage per hit, the addition of Haste and Shroud to any creature helps the deck substantially at a modest increase in $$ cost. The second nudge upwards is Unified Will in the sideboard. With a flood of cheap creatures this counterspell should help protect against boardwipes.

-I'm currently looking for ways to accelerate equip costs. Right now the best budget option looks like Brass Squire while Lotus Blooms are a moderately $$ priced but potentially better mana curve option. Obviously the Mox Opal or Chrome Mox are far superior, but are set at $$$ prices that suggest playing a different deck. Extraplanar Lens is another non-budget option. Alternately, adding white opens a number of options for enablers.
