The deck revolves around a one-turn-kill combo. Summon Magister Sphinx, preferably with Sharuum, to set an opponent's life to 10, and swing in with flyers for lethal. Blink to repeat the effect. The rest is built around control to ensure the strategy works every time. Cards like Darksteel Forge, Argentum Armor, and Caged Sun have tremendous value in the deck. Baleful strix, a recent addition, has also proven to be extremely versatile.
