Round 1: Vs bant company 2-0 Win Match 1 win: I was removing creatures one by one, I wiped the board via outburst and rebuilt advantage via gideon and ob. Saved removal to protect kalitas from dromoka's command to gain creature advantage, and emblem for good token trades.

Sideboarded in: 2x Mentor 1x Planar outburst 1x Kalitas

Sideboard out: 1x Valorous stance 1x Seeker of the way 1x Ultimate price 1x Ruinous path

Not sure if I should've boarded in moonlight, but I don't think I had any good cards to board out after the initial 5.

Match 2 win: I stuck a turn 2 a seeker of the way, and used grasp of darkness to clear the threats out until turn 4, then I dropped a monestary mentor and built up a board he couldn't break through.2x gideon emblem and sorin +1 ended up killing the opponent.

Round 2: Vs 4c Rally 1-1-1 "Win" Match 1: The opponent was stuck on 3 lands for a few turns, and I got them to 8 life or so, but they got the 4th land and stuck two big collected companies - zulaport + sifter followed up with a jace + sifter. Third coco hit zula and husk and I couldn't recover from there.

Sideboard in: 2x Hallowed Moonlight 2x Duress 3x Transgress the mind 2x Infinite obliteration 1X Tainted remedy 1x Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet

Sideboard out: 1x Ob Nixilis Reignited 2x Utter end 1x Valorous Stance 3x Ruinous path 1x Murderous cut 2x Stasis snare 1x Read the bones

Match 2: Turn 2 jace stuck, and I had boarded out the ruinous paths. I landed infinite obliteration on husk turn 3 but the game went on for 5 more turns and I was keeping the board fairly clear, but the opponent reached jace ult. They drew 3 lands after that and lost to land creatures with an emblem + secure the wastes.

Match 3: with 4 minutes left we decided whoever had the stronger board when turns was over would be the winner, we played what we could and i had a stronger board/hand state as of turn 4 (2x seeker of the way + read the bones) so he conceded to me.

I'm not sure about the sideboard for this match, I think I don't need the 2x duress, or I may need to change to 4x transgress instead. I should have probably kept in the removal and boarded out the seekers, since the opponent has so many 2/3s and they aren't good when playing vs reflector mage.

Round 3: Temur company 2-0 Win Match 1: I was able to keep his board clear with removal spells + planeswalkers - the only creature that gave me trouble was thunderbreak regent when I had planeswalkers out. Secure the wastes eot opponent's turn + sorin emblem for the kill.

Sideboard in: 1x Kalitas 2x Monastery Mentor 1x Planar outburst

Sideboard out: 2x Utter end - removal's too slow 2x Seeker of the way - 2/2s lose to a host of 2/3s, 3/3s and 4/4s.

Match 2: I kept his board clear and landed a Monastery Mentor, removed other things until he dropped two thunderbreak reagents. Ruinous path managed to dodge both dispel and disdainful stroke, and I was able to kill him slowly with tokens + planeswalker value.

Round 4: Green/Red ramp 2-1 Lose Round 1: turn 5 worldbreaker + turn 6 ulamog hitting my lands = dead

Sideboard in: 3x Transgress 2x Infinite obliteration 1x Dark petition

Sideboard out: 2x Utter end 1x ultimate price 1x Kalitas 1x Planar Outburst 1x Ob nixilis

Round 2: Infinite obliteration on worldbreaker, followed by a gideon, followed by an infinite obliteration on ulamog, they only had ugin and chandra as threats, and they couldn't stick them because of ruinous path. Win

Round 3: They played a sylvian advocate and I had no removal turn 2, turn 3 infinite obliteration naming worldbreaker, only 2 in their deck. They boarded out all their multiples and put in all singleton bombs. they ramped into 6 with explosive veggies turn 4 and started bashing me for 4. They resolved ugin and I was dead.

Round 5: jeskai black control 2-0 win Match 1: I landed planeswalkers and he had too much creature removal and no planeswalker removal. Landed a secure the wastes on a turn when he tapped out to kill sorin, and gideon ulted for the kill.

Sideboard in: 2x duress 2x Transgress

Sideboard out: 1x Valorous stance 1x Planar outburst 2x Utter end

Match 2: Opponent went down to 5 and Duress + Transgress left opponent with nothing to contest planeswalkers.

Semifinals: Temur Company rematch 1-2 lost Match 1: Continued the strategy to keep the board clear and attack with tokens + board wiping when needed. Thunderbreak regeant is still fairly problematic - it screws up planeswalkers pretty badly (makes ob nixilis a 5 mana destroy target creature).

Sideboard in: 1x Kalitas 2x Monastery Mentor 1x Planar outburst

Sideboard out: 2x Utter end - removal's too slow 2x Seeker of the way - 2/2s lose to a host of 2/3s, 3/3s and 4/4s.

Match 2: He had a good tempo curve - I kept a hand with 2 tap lands, and drew a third tap land turn 3, with no removal in hand. Had to use read the bones and lost to efficient creatures and a timely distainful stroke on gideon turn 5.

Match 3: The match was fairly evenly matched, he had a hand with little action and i kept a 3 planeswalker hand with 1 removal and 2 lands. I drew into more lands but he stroked 2 planeswalkers - i landed a kalitas and he landed a knuckleback turn 6. I played a gideon which got disdainful stroked and he played a thunderbreak on his turn. The next turn I used a dark petition to fetch a planar outburst with kalitas on the field, but I did that main phase 1 instead of main phase 2, and then moved to combat and lost the 3 mana, so I couldn't cast outburst. Died the next turn.
