Hi and welcome to my Commander build for Izoni, Thousand Eyed.

This is supposed to be a fairly optimized deck on a power level around 7 out of 10. It is meant to be played in a mixed environment at my LGS with a shuffled group of experienced and new players and to provide a fun game for everyone.

The deck strategy is to win by getting the most value out of every interaction. Everything is tuned to provide some gain when entering or leaving the battlefield, or to generate value if creatures do so. Another part of the main plan is to be able to utilize the graveyard. Either by Izoni’s ability, or by effects, that help to regain resources from the graveyard. To power this part of the strategy you will find a lot of draw and self-mill to fill up the graveyard and boost your options there. After enough value is generated, the deck usually comes to a “point of no return” where you got enough resources at hand to win the game in one turn, by playing Overwhelming Stampede, sacrificing 50 creatures while having an Aristocrat or something the like.

The challenge I gave myself for this deck is to use as many creatures as possible. To replace every effect I needed with a creature, if I reasonably could. So you will find a lot of creatures in roles like “removal” or “ramp” and the like. This way I was able to build a well-rounded Deck, and I could also boost Izoni’s Undergrowth quite a lot. Also it feels pretty on theme.
