From Hatebears to Eldrazi, the Taxes lists are nicely positioned to deplete the opponent of crucial turns and resources early. Leonin Arbiter and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben makes all of the lists a pain to deal with. In addition to the BW Eldrazi version, there's GW, UW, RW and Mono-White. All do very well and will most likely test all of them to find a good FNM deck to run.

So far, I am partial to the early car/hand disruption Tidehollow Sculler provides in the BW list. Follow that up with Eldrazi Temple and the additional Eldrazi abilities of Thought-Knot Seer and Eldrazi Displacer. The deck makes for a decent modern beater that plays well against the meta.

What's really fun with these taxes lists, is testing out the flex spot. What's best? Reality Smasher, Blade Splicer or something different? Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Sin Collector? Still testing. Also testing the 24th land since early Ghost Quarters can take you off of a much needed 4th land. More basics to combat the GR Ponza and Blood Moon decks.
