Sideboard

This is my favorite legacy deck: Czech Pile, 4C Control, or 4C Leovold. It's an amalgamation of some of the best and grindiest cards in legacy minus white. It's goal is to disrupt the opponent and eliminate their threats on a mostly 1-for-1 basis and take over with raw card advantage off the back of Baleful Strix, Snapcaster Mage, Kolaghan's Command, and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. It's in 4 colors because blue gives us access to the best cantrips, Force of Will, and our card advantage engines: Snapcaster and Jace; black let's us play and use Deathrite Shaman and gives us access to powerful discard spells like Hymn and Thoughtseize as well as solid and necessary removal spells like Fatal Push; Red gives us access to Kolaghan's Command and Lightning Bolt, which are fine cards, but most importantly, Pyro and Red Elemental Blast; and finally, green is a must splash to begin with so we can use our Deathrites to gain life against aggressive decks or disrupt Reanimator and, at the point we're splashing green, it's easy to play with Leovold, a very good card in his own right.

I've decided to put 2 Goyfs in the main. It's awkward to fetch for him, but I think he's a much better card than Gurmag Angler and especially in this deck. We don't have as many cheap ways to fuel our yard, we play creatures and Snapcaster instead of stocking the yard, and with 3 Strix and 3 Walkers, we can make Goyf bigger than Angler most games
