"Iron sword, huh? What are you killing? Butterflies?" ― Guardsman, Skyrim

My decks are non-competitive kitchen table EDH decks, which are designed to primarily play against 2 to 5 enemies. My playgroup is a bunch of mid-30s who want to meet, chill, drink and have fun at a Saturday night, so in general we don't play decks which are just frustrating for the opponents or practically exclude them from the game for the next 2 hours. We got some rules like no massive landhate or poison and we got a small internal banlist. Personally, I only build mid-budget decks. So no fancy cEDH stuff to be seen here. Sorry, not sorry. ;)

With this deck your army of glorious knights can build up an untouchable phalanx of doom, while their infamous leader Syr Gwyn seeks to rush ahead into the ranks of your foes and instill awe into their hearts. For that purpose you got a well-stocked armory, full of the finest pieces of armor and weaponry, including the trinity of hammertime: Sunforger, Colossus Hammer and Loxodon Warhammer. ;)

No fancy infinite combos, no overly complex jank, just good 'ol fashioned beating. It's a creature and equipment based deck which can dish out Commander-damage pretty well while providing a very sturdy and versatile defense.

In this section I try to collect interesting mechanics, weird interactions and cards that are often mistaken. If I got something wrong here, please feel free to correct me. It is supposed to work as a reminder for myself if needed and it might help other people who stumble across similar issues.

Cloudsteel Kirin:
If you have 0 or less life while Cloudsteel Kirin is equipped to a creature, activating reconfigure to attach Cloudsteel Kirin to another creature you control doesn't cause you to lose the game. You would lose the game if Cloudsteel Kirin becomes unattached or becomes attached to a creature you don't control.
Reconfigure represents two activated abilities. Reconfigure [cost] means "[Cost]: Attach this permanent to another target creature you control. Activate only as a sorcery," and "[Cost]: Unattach this permanent. Activate only if this permanent is attached to a creature and only as a sorcery."
An Equipment creature with reconfigure can be attached to creatures by effects other than its reconfigure ability, such as the activated ability of Brass Squire.
Although it causes an Equipment to become attached to a creature, reconfigure is not an "equip ability" for the purpose of cards like Fighter Class and Leonin Shikari.

Although there is rule 301.5c An Equipment that’s also a creature can’t equip a creature, it is possible to equip Cloudsteel Kirin to any creature via Puresteel Paladin's, Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale's and similar effects even if it's not reconfigured since those effectively 1. give it a new ability which says "equip for " and 2. any effect that attaches a creature with reconfigure to another creature will cause it to stop being a creature until it becomes unattached (see official twitter post of WotC rules manager). Note that this won't work with effects which just reduce equip costs.

Teferi's Protection:
There's a plenty of ways to actually kill a player who resolved a Teferi's Protection. Even though it says, your life total can't change and you got protection from everything, that doesn't mean you can't still lose the game. For example you still have to keep track of any commander damage taken. Here's what the oracle text for protection says: (This can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, enchanted, or equipped by anything [quality].) So if someone has anything that says "damage can't be prevented", see Questing Beast for example, commanders can still deal damage to you since Commander Rule no. 9 says if a player has been dealt 21 points of combat damage by a particular Commander during the game, that player loses a game. Same goes for infect and toxic btw.
