This deck started out as a creatureless discard deck, until honorglorydeath helped me with a solid manabase. I'm excited to play Standard again and this deck feels amazing.

Digging

Some digging is featured and feels fluid. With Flashback, they can help early to late game. Izzet Charm is a great card with the variety of modes, it's featured in a few categories. Burn, draw, and counter!

Ground Control

Variety of creature control spells. Try to allow for a variety of removals to avoid hexproof and other shenanigans.

Missile Defense

A few spells here try to interact directly with my opponent. Tried to keep the control here a bit lighter to not have many situational top decks.

Boiler Room

These cards are considered the wincons. Either by substantially changing the board state in my favor or sending significant damage to the dome.

Gatecrash Replacements

• AEtherize should work very well in this deck against aggro.

• Spell Rupture might be good, but it wouldn't be useful until mid to late game.

• Devour Flesh will be a welcome upgrade from Tribute to Hunger .

• Illness in the Ranks might be a better sideboard than Curse of Death's Hold. At least, in the meta I'm seeing.

• Lord of the Void could be so much fun. Seeing as dropping a Bolas is something this deck can do, maybe Void could see play.

• Skullcrack will be a must have.

• Dimir Charm should be pretty sweet. More charms, the better! Very flexible.

• Duskmantle Seer I'm still debating. It's a four drop and can possibly hurt me by letting an opponent dig.

• Whispering Madness should be great. Slapping this on a Nighthawk to proc a Windfall sounds fun.
