Sideboard

Cat Tribal actually feels pretty well supported. Unlike some tribes I've tried to force, there are an abundant number of payoffs and enablers, including Modern Horizons cards, and even a companion in Kaheera. The deck can run maindeck hate cards that are still synergystic, like Lion Sash, Qasali Pridemage, Thraben Charm, and Endurance. It also has plenty of Lords, and quite a few token enablers that combo well with Ocelot Pride. A single Goblin Bombardment enables Ajani, Nacatl Pariah  , creating opporunities to win on the spot. I decided not to run Fable of the Mirror-Breaker   despite synergies with Ajani because it didn't feel as cat typal as Fleecemane Lion.

I don't think this deck is a better use of Ocelot Pride and Ajani, Nacatl Pariah   than Energy piles, which is the big downside of the deck. Energy gets to run more of the MH powerhouse cards, it just has more effecient threats, more creatures that snowball, more play into sweepers with Phlage, etc. But if you're looking for an effecient beatdown Midrange decks, and you wanted to play with Qasali Pridemage and Brimaz, King of Oreskos, you could do worse than Cats. I do think it has a high enough ceiling to compete with Modern decks, provided you don't see the wrong half of your deck.
