Sideboard

This Standard (DTK) Deck works by playing BW Weenies that generate value through morphing or dying.

Athreos, God of Passage + Mastery of the Unseen works gives you a lot of card advantage since every Manifest triggers his passive ( even lands/spells).

Sideboard plans include Dictate of Erebos against Midrange, Drown in Sorrow against Aggro and Stain the Mind against Control/Combo Decks (byebye Dig Through Time).

The Deck is pretty consistent and matches up well against most meta decks (especially UB/Esper Control).

I went 3-1, getting second place overall.

Quick recap of the games: -First Match against Bant Aggro 0-2: I lost both games without much chance. Dromoka's Command usually traded 2-1, killing either Athreos or Mastery of the Unseen in most cases as well as a morph. This, combined with the Den-Protector/Deathmist Raptor engine led to two rather swift deaths for me. Some Despises in the Sideboard would probably do wonders.

-Second Match against UB Dragon Control 2-1: First Game ended quickly, after two Black Cats got rid of Dig through Time and Dragonlord Silumgar and a merciless Executioner hit multiple times for 3. Second Game i got flooded on lands and couldn't resolve my answer to his Silumgar, the Drifting Death. The Third Game was rather lengthy, but around turn 12 my Mastery of the Unseen finally manifested an Athreos which then drained him to death over the next few turns.

-Third Match against Jund Whip 2-1: In my first game i somehow managed to control the board, despite a turn 4 Whip of Erebos and slowly kill him with two Silumgar Assassins. In the second game he went Elvish Mystic, Satyrn Wayfinder, Whip, whip up Hornet Queen, which he had sideboarded in. I did not have Drown in Sorrow in my deck so ich just got hit every turn for 5 which ended the match quickly. In the third game we both drew rather aggressively, but i managed to drain him to 0 using Athreos+Qarsi Sadist after he played Dragonlord Atarka with a Thunderbreak Regent on board, while i was at 5 life.

-Fourth Match against Abzan Aggro 2-0: I went first and played Ruthless Ripper->Sultai Emissary->Merciless Executioner->Merciless Executioner which killed every creature he played as well as him in the end. The second game was basically won by Mastery of the Unseen/Dictate of Erebos which made him sacrifice every creature he played after basically the first attack.
