I started playing this deck in 2012 and changed it lots of times since then. But I'm still having fun with Ghave, Guru of Spores as commander.

After getting much mana and casting Ghave, Guru of Spores the main strategy is as follows:In my opponents End Step, I create as many Saprolings as possible. That way I always have attackers ready, which I can sacrifice or pump up, depending on the opponents blocks. Furthermore there are a lot of synergies with this attack-based strategy:

And of course I try to produce lots of tokens and counters, that I can use to create more of them.

This deck however lacks removal, so it's more about coming back to the game no matter what the opponents throw at me. Rebuild and remain being a threat.

Ps: I refuse cards that enable infinite combos (Ashnod's Altar). And in some cases I know about strictly better cards which I find too powerful to be fun (Grave Pact, Cathars' Crusade)
