So this is my mono red burn deck that I take to FNM. It's a budget deck that doesn't (and won't ever) splash any colors and won't ever run Goblin Guide. It's missing Eidolon of the Great Revel right now but I may eventually pick up that playset.

This is a pretty standard burn build designed to work around the cards that I've got. The mountain count is 19 since the deck runs a bit more stuff at the cmc 2 slot than really is preferable.

So far I've taken it to FNM twice and gone 2-2 and 3-1 so it's had pretty decent results. It doesn't handle lifegain well since all it's got is Skullcrack mainboard and nothing sideboard but I'm pretty sure there's not too much to do with it.

And it only has a 14 card sideboard because somehow I only have 74 card sleeves for this deck. I lost the other 26 sleeves somewhere.

I'd say this deck is too budget friendly since it will run about $60 but for modern I've had a tough time making anything cheaper.

In terms of the maybeboard the Spark Elemental is on there because it can act like a 3 damage burn spell on turn one and on any turn your opponent doesn't have any blockers out. The main drawback is the fact that it's a creature. Hellspark Elemental is preferred over Spark Elemental since even though it has a 2cmc instead of 1cmc it can be repeated to help us close out games.
