What kills me makes me stronger

Casual* BG (Golgari) Mill

waxandwane13

Maybeboard

A streamlined golgari self-mill deck.
So what's in it?

components

instants and sorceries

Mulch will mill you and filter your lands
Grisly Salvage mostly the same but gives you the choice to save a creature or a land, which is good.
Gnaw to the Bone is useful when you need to catch breath against a more aggro-ish deck, and will replenish 10-30 life, not too shabby for 2G flashback.

creatures

beaters

Splinterfright, like the other beaters, has his P/T dependant on the GY state. However what makes him shine is he has trample, and a neat passive ability to self-mill 2 every turn.
Boneyard Wurm is the baby version of Splinterfright, much less powerful but still has its uses.
Nighthowler really needs to be played for its bestow cost, in which case he can more than double the P/T of a Splinterfright or Boneyard Wurm.
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord comes off stronger than Boneyard Wurm, which he likes to sac for face damage while increasing the body count.

utilities

SlitherheadSatyr Wayfinder is kinda used as a Mulch with legs that's very happy to chump block.
Lotleth Troll finds a use for the creatures you can't cast in your hand: he'll get stronger and so will your beaters. Really likes being bestowed by Nighthowler.
Rot Farm Skeleton will usually be discarded by Lotleth Troll, after which he's useful when you have an empty hand and a lot of mana. Can then be sacced by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or simply sent attacking to his death.

I'll be happy to read your thoughts ;)
