Dragons of Tarkir has given the morph deck some shiny new toys in Deathmist Raptor, Den Protector, and Stratus Dancer, giving it a better matchup against control where it struggled earlier.

The aim of the deck is to play face-down creatures and gain advantage with Trail of Mystery and Secret Plans, then use them to create board positions that are very difficult for an opponent to play around.

Temur War Shaman is something I want to try out; six mana is quite a lot, though, so it might end up being cut. I'm happy with four Whisperwood Elemental, as it provides incredible value when a lot of my creatures have abilities that trigger when flipped up (plus I can't complain about cheaper unmorphs for a couple of my creatures!)

The deck does have problems with flying attackers, which will likely be an issue with the rise of Thunderbreak Regent - Monastery Flock could be a nice blocker, but doesn't really do much else for the deck.

It's also not great against really fast aggro decks, as the deck's creatures are reasonably slow - fortunately, Dragons of Tarkir has given us some nice 2-drops, but even then those generally just trade with aggressive creatures. Deathmist Raptor is awesome, but three toughness puts it in Lightning Strike range.
