This deck aims to ramp into goofy lifegain combos, and to create complex board states that are difficult to interact with favorably.

  • Dawn of Hope: Primary win condition. It makes dudes, it gains life, and it draws cards. Combine this with Divine Visitation for terrific value, but keep in mind the angels don't have lifelink.

  • Llanowar Elves/Druid of the Cowl/Elvish Rejuvenator: Ramp, primarily into The Immortal Sun and Divine Visitation as well as Resplendent Angel pumps.

  • Verdant Rebirth: Keeps your important creatures alive, and generates extra value with your ETB creatures.

  • Make a Stand: Works similarly; it's stronger against sweepers and also protects your tokens.

  • Seal Away: We're trying to outlast our opponent more often than outright race them. There are some creatures that are just too big/fast to let them punch us (especially tramplers).

  • Conclave Tribunal: More removal, more targets. Remove things that aren't creatures, take out well-protected Planeswalkers, and sometimes retrieve your similarly exiled dudes.

  • Trostani Discordant: Tossed this in because it has synergies with pretty much everything in the deck. Works great as a one-of that greatly accelerates your win condition or helps stabilize against aggro.
