Maybeboard

Want a decent control deck with a fun little thematic twist? There are a fair number of cards which are "directly superior due to snow requirements," so your cardpool should be solid, if highly limited.

In the early game, Rimebound Dead and Rimewind Taskmage keep your foe's threats at bay while you keep making your land drops. Priest of the Haunted Edge is not only a decent blocker, but he performs targeted removal on any threats you can't simply stall out. Once your opponent overextends to get around your little regeneraters and bounce effects with sheer numbers, Dead of Winter is a one-sided boardwipe. Blood on the Snow isn't bad either, as it can still leave you with your best creature (or take out planeswalkers, if need be!) Don't forget that if you have extra mana, you can regenerate your Rimebound Dead from Blood on the Snow!

Stalling to the late game, Marit Lage's Slumber is a pretty by-the-numbers wincon. Ascendant Spirit can end up as a worthy threat in its own right, scoring you more cards while beating your foe down. Frost Augur and Scrying Sheets should keep your cardflow healthy while you're waiting, since only Dead of Winter and Rimewind Taskmage are nonsnow. Still, don't forget that Marit Lage's Slumber can stack your deck before you check! Lastly, Kaldring, the Rimestaff   can bring back whatever you lose while waiting for Dead of Winter to come along - though it's especially rude with reusing Priest of the Haunted Edge or Mouth of Ronom turn after turn!
