So, this is my try at finally building a Chaos Deck with one of my favorite Legendary Creatures of all Magic: the Gathering - Jhoira of the Ghitu. I've been reading Magic Novels a lot and was so happy when she finally made an appearance in Time Spiral. If you haven't read it, do it! It's worth it!

On to the build. First of all, it is intended for a very special Multiplayer experience. If you want to win those games fast, look elsewhere. It may very well be that you will not win at all. Also, if your play group does not like long (and I mean loooong) Commander games, you shouldn't even consider this. The deck is inspired by a Mono-Red Random deck Jake Stiles played in a Commander Clash on MTGGoldfish. It was so awesome, that I wanted to try it myself. So here I go!

The Manabase: Well, since I am on a budget, you won't find the expensive stuff here. It is basically lands that I had lying around that fit the colors. The artifact lands are in there for Tezzeret the Seeker , which I didn't even include, but I left them in. :D

The Creatures: Not much to see here either. Jhoira of the Ghitu is here to help us cast our expensive stuff earlier. There are some utility-creatures like Shivan Sand-Mage , Timebender and Jhoira's Timebug to reduce the time until the good stuff hits. Aeon Chronicler and Detritivore are awesome if you suspend them with Jhoira. Djinn of Infinite Deceits is the first fun-card, trading the creatures we don't need anymore with better ones our opponents have. It works especially well with Crater Hellion since we can give it to someone without Mountains (if he has a creature left, that is) and then it dies. The rest are the usual Eldrazi I found here and there. And that's it.

Ramp: We have quite a lot of ramp, nothing out of the usual apart from Thran Turbine which allows us a Jhoira-activation for free each turn. Awesome!

Protection: Jhoira IS important, but the game can also work without her (and may be better if the others think I have Mass Land Destruction in there, which I don't), but if we want to get something done, we have a few counterspells.

THE FUN: So, this is what the deck is all about: Lots of random effects, that confuse everyone (myself included) about what is going on. Confusion in the Ranks makes us swap every permanent (apart from lands) with another one! I do NOT run cards that abuse this (like Dash-creatures and stuff like Cosmic Larva), so everyone is affected equally. Elkin Lair forces us to play one particular RANDOMLY CHOSEN spell in our hand or put it into the graveyard. Knowledge Pool, Possibility Storm and Eye of the Storm will guarantee nobody plays what he actually intended. And I don't even know what happens when Knowledge Pool and Eye of the Storm are on the field at the same time. I suppose you play a sorcery, both want to exile it. If you let KP resolve, EotS WILL allow you to cast everything else exiled with it (if there is something), then you cast something else with KP, which triggers EotS again (if it is a sorcery or an instant), but I am not quite sure. Grip of Chaos is so insane, that you can't choose the targets of your spells and abilities anymore (if they have a single target... Confusion in the Ranks has actually two targets and won't be affected, as does Djinn of Infinite Deceits and Puca's Mischief ). Wild Evocation, Omen Machine and Gate to the AEther give everyone stuff for free. Scrambleverse, Thieves' Auction and Warp World make sure, the board state is never boring!

The rest of the deck is just some more utility and copy-effects.
