Let's look at the origins first...I started playing EDH maybe a year ago. I have always loved it and consistently given up on Modern and Standard to focus on the awesome, engaging, political, and multi-player game that is Elder Dragon Highlander. For almost the entire time that I've played this format, I have been running a RUG Animar Aggro deck (I've tried playing Intet and Maelstrom Wanderer as well, but always drifted back to ol' Ani). Anyhow, I got bored with the strategy. Ramp, play creatures, demolish face. Hell, it was satisfying, but something inside me yearned for a challenge. So I looked for one. And I stumbled upon this beautiful gem of a card, Jedit Ojanen of Efrava. I took one look at him, gave a nod of approval, and went to work on a deck for this beautiful kitty. I didn't build this because I wanted a cat tribal or token deck, as commanders like Kemba or Trostani would have fit the colors and roles for such things. No, I built this deck because I wanted to sit down at the table and have people say, what is that card, what could this deck possibly contain. And here it is.
