So many self-mill combo decks out and about. I know they are effective for combo wins, but I have one or two builds that do that already, and I really miss the classic "mill your opponent" challenge of a traditional mill strategy. In comes Oona.

Jace can be swapped for Szadek, if you really want to go for the Eater of the Dead instant win, but I prefer having them in the 99. If we miss one or both of those spells, and are unable to tutor them up, it's not a fun time. So I like to keep them in the 99, and should I draw one, I can try to grab the other piece. But if not, I know I can rely on Szadek as commander, for mid-late game milling and chumps to keep up alive long enough to win via mill as we prefer here. We've also got Thing in the Ice, and Dark Depths, which can instantly flip with a Hexmage or you can use Duskmantle, House of Shadow with Halimar Depths, to copy it, and since it will have already entered the battlefied, it just becomes Marit Lage instantly. Always a fun time.

Enjoy.
