Since Korvold loves to sacrifice your own permenants there will be a few focus', things that benefit from being sacrificed/dying or benefit from other things being sacrificed/dying, things that bring things back from the graveyard, and things that force others to sacrifice when you do.

The current win-con is mostly sacrificing permeants putting counters on your commander and doing damage that way. Long term improvements for this style would be picking up a few black enchantments that force others to sacrifice when you do. Be careful with land destruction, especially if you make it global. Alternatively you can lean into the dragon aspect and make a cool 3 colored dragon deck.

The biggest long-term improvement for this deck would be the land base, specifically adding pain lands, dual lands, and other more expensive lands that should help with your mana and tutors. Dont really worry about this part unless you want to invest a few hundred dollars and I would highly suggest against it unless you start playing more competitive/make more decks.

Alternative commanders are Prossh and ziatora. These could lead to different play but since this is a budget deck you can play around with things. I have also left 3 cards for you to play around with add a little bit of your own identity to.
