Abzan is still obnoxiously good. The card selection is simple yet very effective. Because of the way battle for zendikar manabases work, it is very eady to splash colors. This is basically monogreen splash white and black for abzan's very powerful cards. The deathmist raptor/den protector plan is the most powerful thing to do in standard right now and gives the deck enough reach to outgrind all midrange decks and the control decks. In addition there are a bunch of cards in the main deck that help agains aggro. Warden of the First tree is often a 3/3 on turn two and Siege Rhino provides life gain and a large blocker. Hangarback walker is an auto four-of and is likely the most powerful card in standard because of how difficult it is to deal with and being colorless, gaining in value as the game goes on, and an X spell making it a good topdeck. The deck has very little synergy and is incredibly efficient and cheap.
