The purpose of this deck is to mitigate damage and destruction by making my creatures very hard to kill and then offloading damage and destruction targets to them using flagbearer/pariah mechanics. It also has a subtheme of control shutdown(leonin arbiter, library of leng, aven mindcensor) and board balancing(restore balance, austere command) to make sure that nobody (bar me!) has more creatures or lands than anyone else.
