With the new Gideon of the Trials emblem preventing its controller from losing the game as long as they control a Gideon card, I thought WHY THE HELL NOT?!

Of course Gideon will need some friends to help him. Normal creature buffs will just fall off of him when he stops being a creature, so we can go with anthem effects or +1/+1 counters. Anthems are for people who need a wide board, but why would we need that when we have Gideon? So +1/+1 counters it is!

This is a sorta control-y deck, with the win-con being Commander damage from Kytheon/Gideon, Battle-Forged  .

Gameplan: Pump Gideon and swing in for lots of damage!
