For Modern. Using Investigate cards, collect Clue Tokens and build up to possibly Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas's -4 ability.

Creating defenses using Tamiyo's Journal to pull Stormtide Leviathan while using Briarbridge Patrol to cast it without cost that same turn. following up with using this same method to fetch and play Archetype of Imagination to protect against flying.

This may be able to use something to give creatures you control hexproof or shroud to prevent kill spells from knocking out the main defenses, however I'm still working on that.
