Here's the problem with standard:
-Decks rotate out too quickly
-Decks are expensive
-A lot of decks arent fun to play
Here's what this deck does:
-Avoids October rotation when BFZ comes out (hype!) by not having any M15 or Theros cards.
-Maintains a good win/price ratio by using fairly unused cards.
-Is super fun to play!
Mainboard:
Defiant Strike- Gives an attack boost, prowess trigger, another card in hand, AND a card in the graveyard for delve. All for one mana? Get in!
Enshrouding Mist- One mana protection spell that also gives the creature a boost. Too bad there are no creatures in the deck with renown to maximize value, but I'll take what I can get.
Myth Realized- Holy Bejeezus. Its basically a turn one creature that when Prowess triggers, it gets a Heroic effect, has its own removal-evasive tech in the form of not really being a creature, and is itself a prowess trigger. Awesome card.
Seeker of the Way- Gets big, swings in, gives you all the life you would even need, or just kills the guy: simply essential to the deck.
Center Soul- Two Prowess triggers, gives protection (which basically means its unblockable- very important when Become Immense is running around). The drawback of its two-mana casting cost is well worth it.
Pressure Point- Taps a dude, gets you a card, fuels delve, triggers prowess. It's just Defiant Strike but with different art.
Valorous Stance- Protects your dudes, kill your enemy's. Good 'Nuff for this deck.
Artful Maneuver- Gives +6 P/T minimum. Not the best, but hey its ok.
Dromoka's Command- Does everything and more! The possibilities are endless!
Monastery Mentor- "Speak little. Do much" Say it all. This card is 3/4 of our budget, so it must be good. Is that logic ok? Who cares?
Ojutai Exemplars- Psuedoprowess is fine by me, and even at 4 mana this guy wrecks shop more than I'd like to admit. A two-of is well worth it.
Become Immense- Holy bejeezus #2, this card is just, oh.... yeah..... wow..... like, whaaaa...... just...... dang. I, uh, wow.
