I come home in the morning light

My mother says, "When you gonna live your life right?"

Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones

And girls, they wanna have fun

Oh girls just want to have fun -Cindy Lauper 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'

And that's what the BFF's (Black Friends Forever!) in this party love to do! They're the life (and death!) of the party!

NOTE This deck was designed to counter a very creature heavy meta (one that also involves plenty of Eldrazi that don't shuffle the graveyard back into the library), and take advantage of two things that Black does best: Creature removal & revival.

Overall Strategy:

The overall strategy is to keep the board clear of any threats with the various removal spells or creatures that cause death when they enter play. We're talking stuff like Mutilate, Plaguecrafter, Hideous Laughter and more. Don't forget the popular party-girl Massacre Girl, whom all the guys are dying to their hands on (most likely her neck)! Also, don't forget our other party girl Hythonia the Cruel, who can drop them all dead with a flutter of her eyelashes!

You can even weaponize their Friend-Zoned buddy Balthor the Defiled by using him to to give everyone (including that party hard Massacre Girl) back on their feet!

While doing that, you get your mana rocks and cost reduction artifacts into play.

Party Time occurs in a few different ways:

Version 1: Rise of the Dark Realms - Because the party only truly starts when it's only the diehards left on my dancefloor!

Version 2: Liliana Vess - Her ultimate is really just Rise of the Dark Realms. You can help to bring life back to the party with that wonderful Signature Spell, The Elderspell. Her +1 is handy as it strips opponents of options.

Once the Party is up and running again, it's time to go into Mosh Pit mode and get crazy! To the Red Carpet dance floor!

There are some big threats in this deck to make quick work of your opponents' life totals, as well as some suicide tactics because risk is the spice of life! Phyrexian Arena offers big rewards for a little sacrifice, and let's not forget Bonds of Agony to liven things up if the wallflowers won't come out of their pillow-fort shells!
