First draft of Atraxa Superfriends for 4+ player games. I have worked on this for a while, please feel free to leave comments with suggestions.

Deck Strategy

Superfriends theme with control sub-theme. Win with planeswalker attrition, ultimates, and emblems. Protecting that strategy via counter spells, board wipes, spot removal. Creatures in this deck are used more for 2 for 1 purpose for providing presence on the board while doing something import.

May consider more of a stax sub-theme in the future with cards like Ensnaring Bridge, Ghostly Prison, Humility, Propaganda, Torpor Orb, Winter Orb, Armageddon but that doesn't seem as fun for the play group.

Card Consideration

I have decided to reduce the number tough CMC cost cards such as Cryptic Command. I have considered putting creatures in the deck that help proliferate counters such as Deepglow Skate. However I currently see my current creatures as having more utility in a board state where I am behind rather than in a board state where I am ahead. Genesis Wave seems like a very likely candidate to go into the deck in the future.

I am playing Rings of Brighthearth mostly to copy the planewalker abilities. I have considered running the following cards for their infinite combos with card, but I am going to try without first. These would be:

Ramp Package

Currently using a small mana rock ramp that works well with the commander, primarily Astral Cornucopia and Everflowing Chalice. The rest are standard of what you see in most EDH decks. I included Kodama's Reach though because of it's great value, but have also considered Life from the Loam.

Win Conditions

Most planeswalkers' ultimates are going to provide pretty great advantage:

Doubling Season and Ajani Steadfast help us get there quicker.
