Doubling Season doubles Planeswalker's starting loyalty counters. So you get some mana with Bird/Barriers, search/cast it to double and get a stupid amount of tokens onto the battlefield.

How to:

• A good hand starts with mana creatures, lands, a planeswalker and Doubling Season or Idyllic Tutor.

• Play the lands and creatures, trying to get to 5 mana and a Doubling Season in hand as fast as possible. Use the Idyllic Tutor and Harmonize as needed.

• Meanwhile, Path to Exile is there to take care of big threats and Wall of Omens for extra cards and defense (the wall is totally expendable, by the way).

• Get a planeswalker onto the battlefield with doubling season there. It enters with twice as many loyalty counters and uses the last ability right away. If you still have some life for one turn and there are no cleaners on the other side (Beware the Ratchet Bomb...), attack with something that goes from 30 to 80 damage.

Sideboard with some Ghost Quarter land hate, Spectral Procession as something to deal with flying creatures, more to remove early creatures (Reciprocate), and Krosan Grip to get rid of cleaning artifacts.

Maybeboard is a different version of the deck with other planeswalkers. It uses Vraska the Unseen and Sarkhan Vol and changes 4 lands to make sure it is not a problem casting the red and black mana for them.
