The main point of Jund is to attrition your opponent out of the game, be it grinding out virtual and legitimate card advantage or dismantling their deck through discard, pressure and removal. Generating value through two-for-one interactions and unprofitable circumstances for your opponent are where the deck performs best.

NOTE: Some of the information below is for the sake of record and not relevance, I won't delete any points from past meta.

Currently testing Huntmaster of the Fells   over Anger of the Gods and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, it's a better option against the pace-increasing decks of Modern following GP Dallas and SCG Milwaukee; I could see shaving a Liliana for another Anger a la Willy Edel (https://twitter.com/bazardebagda/status/794212331215589376), but I still enjoy being prepared against more than just creature-heavy decks.

Once again testing X-3 over 4-2 on discard, since Eldrazi/Abzan are still maintaining good standings (Thoughtseize also hits more fringe cards such as Scapeshift and Ad Nauseam). I could definitely see playing around with these numbers more to accomodate for the steady increase of Grixis Control and Burn; Collective Brutality is awesome, I may swap the mb/sb numbers for a Fatal Push.

Eternal Witness, Goblin Dark-Dwellers, Courser of Kruphix or a third Scavenging Ooze may take the spot of the mainboard Grim Lavamancer and/or some Kitchen Finks. Finks is great against all of the one-for-one in Modern as of late, though it's very linear in its value; I'm not sure on how large of a turn radius I want this deck to be able to perform, Grim Lavamancer is the most flexible creature of the aforementioned, but is terrible against

I've tested a much more aggressive version of Jund with both Dark Confidant and Grim Flayer, but it seems even worse against decks like Bant Eldrazi and Tron. Bob is easily one of the best creatures in Modern, and in my opinion better than Grim Flayer.

Testing Kitchen Finks and Thragtusk (much more tentative slots) in the sideboard over Obstinate Baloth or Pulse of Murasa. Finks is spectacular, but it's becoming anti-synergistic with my own Anger of the Gods (which were once maindeck). The addition of a third Scooze was certainly considered in this.

Not sure what to cut for a one-of Twilight Mire or Blooming Marsh to make turn three Liliana more doable/less painful, currently it's between the second Overgrown Tomb and a Mountain (a second Forest is also being debated upon); I just want to have enough flexibility against Blood Moon and Path to Exile with my own dual-mana colored spells.

Somewhat related to the above comments, the second Abrupt Decay is once again becoming maindeck Collective Brutality, maindeck Maelstrom Pulse or a third Scavenging Ooze. Dredge and other control/combo decks utilizing their graveyard are still relevant, plus it's a great rattlesnake and lifegain engine (go figure). The only purpose for the second Decay in my list is mainly due to the presence of Blood Moon and random permanents in my personal meta (Retreat to Coralhelm, Phyrexian Crusader, Engineered Explosives, etc).

Fulminator Mage was becoming less and less effective, I'm certain there are better cards in the Tron/UWx/Infect/mirror/Valakut but I prefer a more flexible card such as the Mage to archetype-specific cards (ergo Crumble to Dust and Painful Truths); also, Collective Brutality is just more versatile than Mage and often great against the same decks. EDIT 1/30/17: TronDrazi and Selesnya Tron have been placing very well at my LGS', Fulminator is awesome again.

Fatal Push is good, it isn't the perfect removal spell for Jund but is definitely a great buffer against Zoo and Affinity strategies; having so much targeted interaction has pushed me away from boardwipes, Bogles showing up more often in my meta could prove that incorrect. If I ran the Pushes, I'd also run Ghost Quarter.

The sideboard is never concrete.
