I've been trying to make a Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper and Jeskai Ascendancy combo deck work since they released Noyan, and even now I don't think it's great, so we've added some other junk that works a lot better, although still poorly.

With Noyan and Ascendancy and a spell with buyback, you can start infinitely awakening your lands, untapping them with every spell cast, and doing some broken stuff. Unfortunately this makes your lands easily removed or wiped and, from what I've found, is just an all around bad strategy. I'm considering cutting him, despite being what I build the whole deck around.

The main combo engine you want to get going is Ascendancy with enough of the mana dork druids out to repeatedly cast a buyback spell, like Capsize or Mystic Speculation . This can, with extra druids, make infinite colored mana, cause infinite spells to be cast, make your creatures infinitely large, or, if you wanted to add in Laboratory Maniac let you draw your whole deck. Having Aetherflux Reservoir out can also act as a wincon as you will gain infinite life from your spell cast triggers.

Intruder Alarm and Sprout Swarm also goes infinite in a similar way.

All of the "Untap All Creatures You Control" cards are basically mana ramp, but I'm considered cutting some of them for more counterspells to protect the combo. The other cheap spells are great activators for Ascendancy and most can help you dig for the wincon pieces.

Thrasios, Triton Hero is great for helping dig for combo pieces as well.

Since the combo is so weak to board wipes, I've found it's helpful to have some form of haste, like Lightning Greaves so you can keep the mana dorks safe in your hand and dump the whole combo at once. The other half of the protection this deck has is that your board will never look scary, so you can try to politic your way out of dying, but don't expect that to work often.

I know this could be a lot more efficient with a better creature list, but I really love tribal decks and attempt to make tribal themes in my commander decks whenever possible. I think adjusting to have more protection for the combo, like some more counter spells, would be the best way to adjust the deck, but I'll have to test it more.
