Creature (1)

Instant (1)

My take on Skullbriar, the Walking Grave.

The theme of this deck is simple.
Destruction.
destroying the opposing creatures with creatures of your own. Destroying lands, artifacts, enchantments, and creatures with your spells.

Early game is simple, get Skullbriar out, keeping the pressure on your opponent until they deal with Skullbriar. Which is okay by me, his low casting cost means he can keep coming into play frequently if need be. The main focus creature-wise are beats; large, scary and devastating creatures that can easily defeat an opponent. Kokusho, the Evening Star, Phyrexian Obliterator, Thrun, the Last Troll, Avatar of Woe, Grave Titan, Visara the Dreadful, and Reiver Demon all have abilities that make them dirty. Visara and the Avatar remove threats before they can become a problem. Kokusho and the Obliterator can leave an artery of destruction. Thrun is hard to kill by itself, equip his favorite hammer, the Loxodon Warhammer and you have yourself one happy troll. The titan drops plenty of creatures to help defend, or attack. and Finally, the Reiver Demon can clear the board of all non-black creatures, leaving most of my creatures in play to wreak havok.

With removal like Terror, Life's Finale and Black Sun's Zenith, the battlefield can stay in your favor for quite some time. if things get hairy, reset the board with a large Death Cloud.

Phyrexian Arena to help with card draw, the same goes for Harmonize.

I can use the various tutors at my disposal to help set up combos or get that one card that can sinch the game in my favor.

Overall, I am happy with this deck and how it runs. Comments are welcome and +1s and suggestions as well!

Updates Add

Took this guy out of the sidelines and back to the forefront because I plan on overhauling him. Adding ways to get more counters on him, other creatures, the works. I'm also planning on making it artifact heavy and possibly running a Mycosynth Lattice in the 99. As with all ways of getting more counters on my creatures, I need Doubling Season, Primal Vigor and Corpsejack Menace. With having the season and vigor comes the addition of creature tokens as well.

Might add in a few vampires as well and make it a pseudo zombie tribal. It's still up in the air at this point in time.
