"See what we learned today, Mr Scruffy? Solve a man's problems with violence, help him for a day. Teach a man to solve his problems with violence, help him for a lifetime!" -A Sexy Shoeless God of War

In a multiplayer game, dealing damage becomes inefficient. Instead of only having to do 20 damage, you have to do 120. Of course, your opponents can help this along, but relying on them to do so is a waste - not only because you can't make them attack, but because if they are in are position to deal a significant amount of damage, they are probably in a position where attacking them would net you nothing.

Because EDH is a singleton format, the efficiency of each card needs to be high. Putting in large creatures without a reanimation package ensures that if you draw them, you are effectively playing down a card up until you can cast it. Combos close the game fast, and with little slot commitment, which means more cards in the deck are "live" cards to draw.

Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter with two Mana Rocks

Dramatic Scepter with three non-land sources that produce mana provides infinite mana. This allows you to activate Tasigur, the Golden Fang an infinite amount of times, which results in first putting your deck in your graveyard, and then all non-land cards from your graveyard into your hand. From there, the easiest way to win is using Stroke of Genius to make your opponents deck out. If, for some reason, this isn't possible (Leyline of Sanctity, Greater Auramancy,Copy Enchantment),you can use Beast Within to destroy a land, and then continuesly Reality Shift to exile their library.

Isochron Scepter + Mystical Tutor

Use Isochron Scepter to continuesly cast Mystical Tutor, fetching beacon of tommorrows. This does not actually let you draw cards, so it does not win you the game on the spot. What you can do is use Tasigur's Ability to net you a card, althought if you hit beacon of tommorrows you are in a bad spot.

Praetor's Grasp: I've been able to win a few games off the back of grasp into Sol Ring for enough rocks to go off, but it really doesn't feel like a card I want to spend my turn playing, outside of an already losing scenario.

Stroke of Genius: really, it's just the vs. on some other draw x spells.

Mind Twist: Targeting the person with artifact removal/counterspells is good when you're trying to combo off, but that might just be too small of a window for a sorcery.
