First of all, I know there're some more optimal ways to play this deck, but I'm not a huge fan of infinite combos. And since I already have a breya deck, I wanted to make something a little more grindy, more combat centric. That's why there'll be no Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice nor any kind of Clock of Omens inifinite-loop shenanigans here.

So, here's the idea: We have a commander that NEEDS dwarves on board to accomplish anything. Sure, we can use Magda alone and try to tap/untap her like crazy and start pulling a lot of huge dragons... But where's the fun on that?

Magda, Brazen Outlaw have a lord effect, so we're incentivized to play small dwarves that'll get a little bigger. And one thing I noticed is that it's very hard to build a tribal list with 2 not exactly synergistic tribes... So I wondered: Why not go for Dwarves tribal, period? I can toss a few good dragons in there but not focus entirely on this part!

When you think about it, Magda allows for a quick activation if we play a lot of 1CMC dwarves. And we can abuse that with a lot of cool artifacts that will either make our dudes bigger, our mana faster or our opponents slower. It completely depends on the table state!

If you can curve a 1-drop dwarf, followed by magda on T2, it is very likely that you'll have 5 treasure tokens on your T4's attack step. And at this moment, you'll have a lot of flexibility to make your next move!

1) Was the table already creature-heavy and you had to attack into your opponent's creatures? If they block, you can combat trick them into Coat of Arms or Obelisk of Urd . If they don't, you can hold the abillity for Caged Sun or The Immortal Sun so you can have lots of mana on your second main phase or more draw on your next turn.

2) And what if I'm playing on a more control-focused table, and there's not that many creatures around? Even better! I can attack without worrying and when i get 5 treasure tokens, I snap-activate the abillity and look for God-Pharaoh's Statue . It's not an end-gaming play, but it should buy me enough time to build my board and get some mana to protect my dwarves.

As of now, I can use Magda´s abillity to pull Cauldron of Souls to protect my board from a wipe and Worldgorger Dragon even protects me from a Cyclonic Rift (a little riskier, since I can lose all my permanents if they remove it before the first abillity resolves). I've been thinking about Hammer of Nazahn (this one, protecting just one target) as a backup plan. The hammer even give's me a second shot to pull Darksteel Plate and/or Commander's Plate (also in my maybe board) to give another target creature protection from removal (protection from WUBG will most likely save the creature!) as they'll attach for free on etb.

And since our dwarves are small and there'll be times when we can be left behind on the board, there's a lot of ways to tap our dudes without attacking, to activate Magda's abillity and turn things around! Aligned Hedron Network can deal with bigger creatures without touching our smaller guys (Sometimes, it can even protect our board just like Worldgorger Dragon does), or maybe Meteor Golem or Spine of Ish Sah can deal with a specific permanent that is giving us a bad time.

This deck honestly surprised me. It's fast, versatile and can end games quickly if you pull the right artifact or dragon on the right moment.
