Title: Admiral Beckett Brass' High Seas Robberies

Commander: Admiral Beckett Brass

Overview: Admiral Beckett Brass' High Seas Robberies is a pirate-themed deck focused on stealing and controlling your opponents' permanents. With Admiral Beckett Brass at the helm, you'll command a crew of sneaky pirates to plunder and dominate the battlefield. This deck combines aggressive combat strategies with clever theft mechanics and even offers an alternate win condition through taking infinite turns.

Key Strategy: The primary strategy of this deck revolves around utilizing pirates to deal damage, steal your opponents' permanents, and control the game. Plan A focuses on bashing face with your pirate crew, using cards like Dire Fleet Neckbreaker to amplify your damage output. Plan B involves assembling a combo with Timestream Navigator and taking infinite turns, which can be enabled through cards like Forerunner of the Coalition and Goblin Matron.

Card Selection:

Pirates: Your pirate crew forms the backbone of the deck. Cards like Captivating Crew, Hostage Taker, and Storm Fleet Aerialist offer powerful abilities to steal and control your opponents' permanents while dealing damage. Theft Effects: Utilize cards like Breeches, Brazen Plunderer, Dockside Extortionist, and Glint-Horn Buccaneer to steal treasures, artifacts, and creatures from your opponents' boards. Control the battlefield by taking what you need. Combat Enhancements: Include cards like Cosmotronic Wave, Tectonic Rift, and Sleep to clear the path for your pirate crew, allowing them to attack freely and deal maximum damage. Combo Pieces: Timestream Navigator serves as the key piece for the combo win condition, allowing you to take extra turns indefinitely. Support the combo with cards like Forerunner of the Coalition and Goblin Matron to search for the necessary pieces. Card Draw and Support: Include cards like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Conjurer's Closet to generate card advantage, protect your pirates, and enable additional theft opportunities. Mana Base: The mana base consists of a combination of dual lands, basic lands, and utility lands to ensure smooth mana production. Include lands like Command Tower, Watery Grave, and Smoldering Marsh to access multiple colors of mana. Prioritize lands that can produce Blue, Black, and Red mana to support your pirate crew's casting requirements.

Key Cards:

Admiral Beckett Brass: The commander of the deck, Admiral Beckett Brass enhances your pirates' abilities and encourages theft. Use her to steal your opponents' permanents and deal damage with your crew. Pirates: Captivating Crew, Hostage Taker, and Storm Fleet Aerialist provide powerful theft abilities and combat prowess. Utilize them to control the battlefield and gain an advantage. Theft Effects: Breeches, Brazen Plunderer, Dockside Extortionist, and Glint-Horn Buccaneer allow you to steal treasures, artifacts, and creatures, disrupting your opponents' strategies while strengthening your own. Combo Pieces: Timestream Navigator, Forerunner of the Coalition, and Goblin Matron facilitate the infinite turns combo, enabling you to take extra turns indefinitely and gain a significant advantage. Card Draw and Support: Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Conjurer's Closet provide card advantage, protection for your pirates, and additional opportunities for theft.

Pirates. Well, through playing this year, 21 card changes have been made. You can see the cards I have removed in the Sideboard. Most of them were removed because the treasure plan is as silly as I thought it was. I had to try it but it did not work for this deck. The additions have shored up the mana base and added to Plan A: bashing face to steal permanents. With 44 creatures in the deck, cards like Cosmotronic Wave, Tectonic Rift, Blustersquall, Teleportal, Sleep and Magmatic Chasm let us punch through for damage and robbery. A lord alongside our commander Admiral Beckett Brass like Dire Fleet Neckbreaker can make the damage lethal quickly.

I am very happy with the recent addition from the 50 cent bin of Deepfathom Skulker: he gives us another Bident of Thassa card draw effect on legs (tentacles?) that also has Thassa, God of the Sea's ability to make things unblockable.

I have kept the Plan B, the combo that really was the impetus for this deck. This Plan B does not detract whatsoever from Plan A. It is taking infinite turns with Timestream Navigator, who can be found by Forerunner of the Coalition (who nicely stings our opponents as part of Plan A), thanks to Grenzo, Dungeon Warden, which is in turn fetchable by Goblin Matron.

Conclusion: Admiral Beckett Brass' High Seas Robberies is a thrilling and interactive Commander deck that combines pirate-themed aggression with theft mechanics and an alternate win condition through infinite turns. Control the battlefield, steal your opponents' permanents, and sail the high seas to victory. Enjoy the excitement of piracy and dominate your opponents with cunning and flair.
