Much like my Ceratok Rampage deck is centered around Crowned Ceratok, this deck is centered around two creatures. The primary creature it's centered around is Advocate of the Beast. He can pump up all of my beast creatures and make them incredibly powerful. The secondary creature this deck is centered around is Sapphire Drake. Sapphire Drake gives all of those powered up beasts flying which makes them an incredible threat.
Battering Krasis has Evolve which works in powering it up without the need of Advocate of the Beast. Battering Krasis comes with Trample which is always good. I love me some trample, just take a look at Ceratok Rampage!
The other Evolve creature in this deck is Renegade Krasis. His Evolve not only powers up himself but all other creatures with a +1/+1 counter on them. That's power!
With those Evolve creatures, that's where Species Gorger comes in. It may cost five mana, but for a 6/6 it sure passes the vanilla test. It's ability also allows for wicked Evolve effects. Species Gorger comboed with Renegade Krasis is nuts!
Kalonian Tusker is a 3/3 for GG. He's powerful, triggers Evolve and can hit hard early on in the battle. Rumbling Baloth is a must-have in beast decks! A 4/4 for four? Yes! Slaughterhorn is here because he is a beast, but I mainly wanted him here for his Bloodrush ability. It's almost like having a Giant Growth. If I need the creature though, then I will play him as one.
Speaking of Giant Growth, Simic Charm is the second best charm from all ten guilds, closely behind Selesnya Charm, in my opinion. Simic Charm gives me the option to Giant Growth a creature, gives all of my creatures Hexproof or Unsummon an opponent's creature.
Door of Destinies is great for this deck because the Beast theme enables me to power them all up as each Beast enters the battlefield.
Pit Fight is an instant-speed, removal spell that works well with green. I like Hunt the Weak a lot, but it's double the mana cost of Pit Fight and is a sorcery spell. However, it provides a permanent +1/+1 counter that stays on my fighting creature. I'm going to use Pit Fight for now, but if I end up not liking it then I will put Hunt the Weak in its place. Plus, the +1/+1 counter is vital to the flying part of this deck.
Primeval Bounty is a big enchantment that does a lot. It provides beast tokens (which I'm not sure would be able to get boosted up by Advocate of the Beast?), +1/+1 counters and life gain. Urban Evolution is draw power and the addition to put an extra land onto the battlefield.
As for the sideboard, Plummet is for fliers. Bramblecrush is for planeswalkers or any other pesky noncreature things on the battlefield. Naturalize is for the enchantments and artifacts out there. Sensory Deprivation makes an opponent's creature significantly weaker. Bioshift is so I can move around the counters and deliver the final blow to win the game!
