Aether Revolt Draft 2/1

Came 2nd in pod of 6. I wanted to draft something that wasn't green, black or white for a change and pack 1 contained Quicksmith Spy . So I started off blue, continuing with Aether Swooper and Merchant's Dockhand , so from early on it was going to be artifacts. Ended up with 3 Sweatworks Brawler s, which works out great for curving swoopers into brawlers. The aim was to go aggro using card draw to fuel the late game with a subtheme of maximising evasion with Wind Drake and Long-Finned Skywhale. Didn't get much in the way of good removal.

Round #1 vs RB 2/1. Game #1 got out fast for turn 6 win. Game #2 Ended up durdling while opponent had Gifted Aetherborn to gain life then block along with Midnight Entourage , while I coudl ping in the sky. At 7 mana I removed the entourage with Universal Solvent to push through attacks. Over extended slightly while attacking. Got killed with counter attack and charged Consulate Turret . Could have won if I hadn't over extended the turn before. Opponent had creatures, but I was pumping them out faster to overwhelm.

Round #2 vs RW 2/0. First game got out fast for quick win again. Game #2 started off racing until we ended up with about half our life then board stalled. Opponent had 2 wheelsmith renegades and Bomat Courier, but I had more creatures including Watchful Automaton and Quicksmith Spy on Universal Solvent , the scry then draw from which was increasing my creature count until opponent swung in, but couldn't put enough damage through.

Round #3 vs RG 0/2. First game was very close. I was 1 turn away from wining with Long-Finned Skywhale in the air; had Aether Swooper and Salivating Gremlins to block 2 creatures, but opponent cast Invigorated Rampage to push through damage. Game #2 started off fast with Bomat Courier exiling a couple of cards then board stalled. Lost my best creatures to Prey Upon and Nature's Way leaving me with underpowered creatures. Dead draws from Bomat Courier and Implement of Examination didn't help. In hindsight I probably should have boarded in a second Ice Over for game #2.

This deck seems to be better than my first UB draft in Kaladesh (Kaladesh Draft 1/1/1), but suffers from the same issue of lack of good removal - both being creature heavy. For fun I tested this deck out against my Ather Revolt BW draft deck (Aether Revolt First Draft 3/0) and it lost, so I played it again, and again, until it lost 8 times in a row... Then I gave up.
