The thing I like most about Oloro, Ageless Ascetic as a commander is that you never actually have to play him...he can attack and draw you cards if you do play him so he is stronger when you do....but since you can get his healing even without playing him, he's likely a lower priority than most things, at least till you are getting low on cards and really need his drawing. And if you do play him and he dies it's not too painful since you don't loose your healing from him.

This deck is designed to get "extra benefits" from healing so that the every turn healing from Oloro, Ageless Ascetic triggers other things to happen as well, then adding some other ways to get healing so I can heal multiple times per turn to really stack it on.

There aren't really any cards in the deck that are substantially more important than others, and it doesn't have just one way to deal damage. The end goal is probably to stack up +1/+1 counters from the healing and to maximize my healing, but I can also do direct damage when I heal as well, and that's just fine.

You also may notice some of my preferences for cards are for cards that say "for each opponent" because when I play commander games it's usually a 4 player 1 on 1 on 1 on 1 game, so there are 3 opponents, that makes "each opponent" cards better than "target player" cards.
