I wanted an Akiri artifact deck, then I watched DJ talk about his Akiri Tymna deck, but I didn't want Tymna because it's popular, and because it's not a new card. I wanted to have at least one new commander in this deck. Psych, partner is Tymna now.

It's a work in progress for sure.

Feb 22, 2021 I've played this once now with Keskit as commander and I've switched to Tymna just because it seems easier and I can get immediate value without the sacrifice, though I really liked the style and balancing act of that.

I'm also strongly considering dropping Sword of Sinew and Steel and Sword of Fire and Ice because of the way the protection can stop me from equipping an Embercleave , Cranial Plating , an Expedite , or something similar.

In their place, I will likely add a Commander's Plate and Shadowspear . I might just choose one of them and add another land though. I did nearly win a game with 4 lands though, largely thanks to the plethora of mana rocks.
