Hello, ever since
Living Lore
was spoiled I loved it the amount of possibility that it has is great so i did some brewing and here's what I came up with.
Main Combosthe main formula is
Living Lore
+a discarder either Taigam's Scheming or Monastery Siege
living lore +discarder+ Twinflame+Treasure Cruise drawn 6 cards and deal 16 damage
Alesha, Who Smiles at Death can keep getting back living lore due it have 0 power in the graveyard Kolaghan's Command also does this
Mainboard Palace Siege: Replaced Whip returns Living lore to your had with out exiling it and can give you life and clock for grindy games
Twinflame: Since this is standard we cant run Splinter Twin so this is the next best thing
Generator servant:can be used as a chump block, or can give your living lores haste and can be brought back with for more lores
Dig Through Time: pretty simple this is played in almost every other control deck running blue and since we can play it free turn 5 seems pretty good
Kolaghan's Command:this card is very versatile it can get back are living lores
act as a discarder kill whip and shock something
Hammer of Purphoros: Gives living lore haste and make golem if you need a little more damage
Crux of fate: a good sweeper and snice you have a lot of recursion killing your own things wont matter that much
Monastery Siege:Gives card advantage and discards also good against burn
Hero's Downfall: this card is good and removal enough said
Temur Battle Rage: can lead to unexpected kills and gets past blockers
Twinflame: same as above but makes another living lore
Sideboard:
Drown in Sorrow: good against mono red, jeskai tokens, mastery or anything with 2 health
Anger of the Gods: With the amount of
Deathmist Raptor
s and
Den Protector
s this card is great and is still good at all the same things Drown is good at
Stain the Mind: this deck has a some cards that just screw it over mainly things that exile Like Ugin, ktk Anafenza, utter end and dissipate this is to deal with those and can remove other problem cards in control or what not
Duress: Good against most decks and I'm too poor to buy Thoughtseize
In Garruk's Wake: Good if you need more living lore targets and good against Abzan or other midrange decks
Murderous Cut: Same as above good against midrange decks
Dragonlord Silumgar: Good for Control or grindy matchups
