The Idea: Build a standard deck using all 1 casting cost cards.

The Challenge: The deck must be functional and hopefully able to hold it's own.

The Rest: I decided to focus on Mono Black Control as there are some interesting synergies to take advantage of.

The ideal win condition is to use discard for control, and use vendetta to clear the board, taking dmg and then drop a BIG Death's Shadow for beatdown and boost your life back up with Collar, Cultists and Shadowfeeds.

Sac-ing creatures to cause damage and for removal will also boost the Beetles.

Pump Assassins's for additional creature control.

Collars help restore life once you get whittled down enough to cast a nice Death's Shadow

Bojuka Bogs handle Vengevine and Bloodghast.

Capsules are sideboarded mainly for Iona if she sees play & they name Black, but can also get around Devout Lightcaster.

This is my typical 61 card deck.

20 mana doesn't seem to pose a problem since everything costs either 1 or B to cast. I may up it to 22 though.
