Enchantment (2)

Sacrification

Creature control is the name of the game. Removal by forcing your opponent to sacrifice their creatures instead of targeting individual creatures. Do your friends play a lot of creature intensive decks? Well, this is the deck that will cause an altercation every time they have to play it!

Remember to +1 if you like the deck! :)

SACRIFICE

BEATERS

TRIGGERS

OTHER

  • Duress to get rid of any non-creatures, since we shouldn't have any trouble with them once they're on the battlefield.

  • Erebos, God of the Dead Other than easily becoming a big beater, he hates opponent life gain and allows me to draw if needed. Draw was an engine that I found this deck lacking, which is the main reason for adding him.

  • Gray Merchant of Asphodel I found I needed more late game drops and what better way to end a game than with Gray Merchant?

  • Dismember for direct removal if needed.

COMBOS

I'm trying to keep the budget for this deck as low as possible, so please keep that in mind when making suggestions.

Updates Add

Making some adjustments after a bad FNM showing. The only notable game i played was still a loss to Jund, but it was worth it to see the guy sweat over almost losing to a $65 deck. Against a heavy control meta I find that I run out of card advantage quickly, and drawing a useless Blood-soaked Champion on turn 8 just isn't what you need. I've added Erebos, God of the Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel for big late game drops. They also utilize all that devotion, which is something I felt I was lacking before. Going to give it a shot.
