porting my Modern deck, Capitalism over to Pioneer. The goal is to build up enough Treasure from Smothering Tithe to burn 3 opponents at once with Jaya's Immolating Inferno . For this we'll need opponent's to draw cards like crazy, and we benefit, too with spells like Folio of Fancies , Dakra Mystic , Dictate of Kruphix , Fevered Visions , and Day's Undoing . We also need a Legendary Creature or Planeswalker, Kefnet the Mindful being the best in terms of CMC and usefulness, but the other Legendaries are pretty fun. That said, I'm open to good suggestions, especially ones with low CMCs that can help the deck along and don't just take advantage of an already good situation.

In porting this over, I had to swap Howling Mine , Temple Bell , and Font of Mythos for blue creatures and enchantments, which actually seems to do just about as well. Fevered Visions looks nice, but in play it spurs opponents to removal or violence against our life total, so I've think it's actually less useful than Dictate of Kruphix .

Another minor change is the lack of Holy Day . To that end, I've included 3 different fog spells, each doing the job slightly differently, but with enough overlap that all of them should be at least somewhat helpful.

Once this deck gets rolling, it generates gobs and gobs of Treasure , which can then be sac-ed to pay for Instants to protect us during opponent's turns. It's pretty easy to get opponents drawing 2-3 extra cards a turn, and unlikely they're going to want to pay 4-6 mana to prevent us from getting tokens with Smothering Tithe .

This is a deck built for fun, not competitiveness. It gives opponents huge opportunity to win while also being capable of fending them off. There are certainly more competitive possibilities for Smothering Tithe (Such as B/W with Revel in Riches , but this is among the most fun, at least in my humble opinion.
