So way back in Kamigawa block, right? They made these strange spells with a unique triggered ability: Epic.

Epic (For the rest of the game, you can't cast spells. At the beginning of each of your upkeeps, copy this spell except for its epic ability. You may choose new targets for the copy.)

Now, not casting spells is generally a good way to lose the game. But, what if we go all-in?

This deck is, at its core, an Enduring Ideal deck. We are running a couple of enchantment combos to lock up the game on that axis, but that's boring as all heck. We need to go DEEPER.

So, when you copy a spell with an epic ability, you end up with two Epic triggers. Twice the fun! Still not cool enough.

Now, Ikoria gave us a nifty spell called Emergent Ultimatum . This lets us grab at least two epic spells and one copy spell, or three epic spells. Then an opponent gets to choose what nonsense they'd rather deal with. Slick and clean, but still pretty lame tbh.

Okay, but what if we give EVERYONE an epic trigger? Beautiful. A couple of Hive Mind effects let us turn the game into an absolute mess by forcing everyone to comply with our new rules of engagement.

But, in all honesty, we can do one better. Assemble all five pieces of E(pic)xodia in our graveyard and overload a Mizzix's Mastery ! How can our opponents contend with us putting FIVE effects (of admittedly varying power levels) on the stack EACH of our upkeeps? I don't know; it remains untested! But doesn't it sound like fun?
